They go from doctor to doctor hoping to hear that the diagnosis was wrong and try to keep their family from finding out. Denial is important and necessary. It helps patients hide the fact that they realize the situation is inevitable. As long as the patient does not refuse treatment, there is no harm in it, and the patient should not be forced to accept the facts about their illness. Being with the patient as much as possible, comforting them emotionally and physically, is very important. It should be remembered that people may need to deny things they don&#8217;t want to accept&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>2-Anger<\/p>\n<p>The patient is saddened by the fact that other people remain healthy while they are ill&#8230; They may think they are a special target for God. It is important to understand that the anger the patient experiences is directed not at the doctors or their family, but at the illness&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>3-Bargaining<\/p>\n<p>The patient accepts the fact that they are ill, but begins to spend more time trying to get better. The patient often bargains with God. For example: They promise to become a better person or to do something in exchange for their illness passing&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>4- Depression<\/p>\n<p>During depression, the patient may exhibit symptoms such as emotional apathy, apathy, abandonment of social and family responsibilities, increased physical complaints, passivity, shyness, avoidance of loved ones, and crying to themselves. It is extremely important for the patient to seek help from a psychiatrist when these symptoms are observed&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>5- Acceptance<\/p>\n<p>Patients who realize their distress is understood, are allowed to mourn their losses, are not subjected to pointless treatment attempts, and whose family is aware of and shares their situation, enter the acceptance phase.
